Many applications and utilities may stop running if the system does not access the api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0 file.dll. It contains system instructions, including those of critical importance. The error associated with them is almost guaranteed to exclude the possibility of running the program.
Typically, the system notifies the user that there is no api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0.dll or that it cannot be accessed. After that, the application stops working. Users of AVG antivirus and a number of other programs are aware of the problems that have arisen because of this. It is important to know what to do in such a situation to quickly relieve yourself of inconvenience.
There are two possible solutions:
- Download & install/update Visual C++ 2015
- Separately download api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0.dll and integrate into the system.
If you choose the first option, you just have to wait for the installer to check all the DLLs and other utility files, including the one that you are having trouble with. This may take some time. Option to download api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0.dll for Windows 7/8/10 is much faster to implement, although it will require some additional actions from you.
In particular, you will need to place the downloaded file in the system directory, after finding out its address. This setting depends on the version and modification of Windows that you are using on your computer.
If downloading and installing a separate file did not help, download and reinstall MS Visual C++ 2015 as a whole.
